As the tears fell down her fair white face,
She saw him,
Her death, in all his dark glory,
He bore down on her,
Like a black wind from under the earth,
His steed, with rolling red eyes and a frothing mouth reared over her,
His sword, like a red fire, filled her vision and was the last thing she saw,
He felt the bite,
As his weapon slit open her tender flesh,
His red eyes glinted blood lust,
And he let out a howl of victory,
In his twisted vision, this was sport,
As she fell gasping onto the dark stone of his world he saw her eyes,
In them was the Sun, Arielan,
His ebony skin seared and he screamed,
In her last moments she had surely won,
And for the first time in his waking memory the warrior turned and fled from the fight,
And galloped back down the dark passages from whence he came,
Back to the safety of hate.

I stand before you,
Yet you won't let me in.
You seem to believe there are no
Souls with black skins.


I walk among you,
And you stay away in fear.
Do you believe there are no
Hearts with white hair?


You watch us hunt,
And kill us on sight.
Are we mindless beasts,
Animals that prowl the night?


I stand to greet you,
Yet none will grasp my hand.
Do you believe--?
Does anyone believe?


That the Drow are as worthy as man?

I walk in the shadows,
Shadows of the night.
Stealth is in my nature,
With my cloak pulled in tight.


Sword in hand,
Poisoned for the foe,
I jump at the chance
To bring on deep woe.


Walking alone in the night,
No one around, no one to trust.
Given the chance to kill,
Into the breast I thrust.


Watching my prey fall,
One after another.
All for our priestess,
Killing sister or brother.


Once again, alone I sit,
Feeding on the beast,
Seeing blood all around
As I savor my feast.

Beware the sun for it is pain.
It burns us and scars us,
Reminds us of our shame

I walked out of the shadows
And I stood beneath the stars.
They were in the morning fading,
Making way for her ascent.
I wanted no more spider webs upon me.
I wanted no more hate and lies.
And if her fire killed me
And least I would be free.
Music came to my ears,
As my eyes began to water.
I could hear the birds blessing the morning
In the dawn of this majestic flower.
Her light moved slowly upon me,
My flesh in agony at her touch
Yet even as she seared me,
Her light was warmth and love.
I stood there in near blindness
Yet I could truely see,
Every beautiful colour, that the Arien allowed to be.
And it was the meaning of rebirth.
In this moment I remembered,
From eons long ago,
That once we lived beneath this mother
Before we killed and fled below.
And now that I stood before her.
She did not kill her son.
But washed away the dark things
And gave me absolution.
Arien is the only true flower
And if you can see her only once,
You are a fool not to brave it.
But then again we are the drow.

a feeling of fire,
inside a sunshine,
no calling,
no escape,
a life of deadman,
a dusk in pink
till dawn in blood,
a heart beat,
top of arrow,
deep inside the shell,
a moonlight,
above grey clouds,
so heavy pain,
so heavy life,
till next day,
just the same as last,
no one has seen me
crying out your name,
the clock tic-tacs,
how much it costs
to give a smile,
to feel a love,
it costs your pain,
your happyness
lost so far in past...
Why do I love you
nobody knows,
may it be the hand
of God above have messed,
or is it a black rose
deep inside the mind
of next one feeling love...
