· A team creates a game with UDK that they intend to sell. After six months of development, they release the game through digital distribution and they earn €15,000 in the first calendar quarter after release. Their use of UDK during development requires no fee. Upon release they would pay US $99.99 for a Royalty Bearing license. After earning €15,000, they would be required to pay Epic €2,500 (€0 on the first €5,000 in revenue, and €2,500 on the next €10,000 in revenue). On subsequent revenue, they are required to pay the 25% royalty.

Абе не се безпокой за плащането. ;) Аз не мисля да правя Unreal Tournament 4 първо защото съм пълен нубак в това отношение и второ ако след години направя нещо, то ще е напълно безплатно или ако не може да бъде безплатно по официален път, то винаги ще намеря начин да го изпиратствам някак си. :D

Сега искам да видя някой, който да ми помага или да си помагамен. :)

3D Buzz, authors of many previous outstanding Unreal Ed video tutorials (including those bundled with various versions of UT 2004) are apparently at work on supporting videos for the Unreal Development Kit. Jason Busby mentions in a forum post (thanks Converged):

I can assure you... VTMs are coming. We had over 13 hours complete... and then had to re-record everything because of a few things in the UI that got moved around or changed at the last minute. Fun fun.

In any case, I don't think you guys will have to wait much longer than a week.

A hotfix for the Unreal Development Kit (UDK) November beta version is now available. Following is a list of updates:

* Shader compiler no longer crashes when the log is not writable.
* Game/editor will run without having to first check for existing script files.
* Windows XP: Emissive lights causing purple lighting have been fixed.
* Windows 7: Added new SpeedTree binaries to address OS-specific issue.
* Added check to confirm GPU meets minimum requirements.
* Implemented fix for some SpeedTree trees causing crashes.
* Added fix for invalid characters being allowed in journal files causing database corruption.
* Incorporated fix for making a game in non-English and then running it on another non-English machine.

* Installer
* If a prerequisite fails to install, the install will still continue and warn at the end.
* Enhanced the check for a valid install path.
* If the installer is skipped, the EULA comes up once.
* Fixed CZE install not finding the EULA.
* Fixed problem if temp install folders were deleted between install and uninstall.
* Fixed problem if maps were named in non-ASCII characters.
