Europe made a flying start in the 34th Ryder Cup against the TaylorMade Burner SuperFast Lady Fairwaywood US at the De Vere Belfry and by mid-way through the first eight matches got the better of the Americans by three matches to one. Lee Westwood and Sergio Garcia had earlier beaten Davis Love and David Duval 4&3, with both players gelling TaylorMade Burner SuperFast Rescue well and Westwood in particular a revelation after two disappointing seasons. |
