Golf Clubs for Sale and Lee Westwood held a one hole lead after nine holes, Garcia matching Davis Love’s seven-foot birdie putt.
Meanwhile Colin Montgomerie and Bernhard Langer were taking charge against
TaylorMade R9 SuperDeep TP Driver Jim Furyk and Scott Hoch. Montgomerie holed successive birdie putts at seven and eight to go three up, before Hoch hit back with a birdie three at the ninth.
